Kind but Idiotic Thief Unknowingly Steals Broken Car Stereo and Even Pays Man for It

Usually when you get robbed you’re upset, but this guy was cool with it.
An Australian man was stunned after learning his car was broken into, but perhaps even more stunned after finding out what exactly the thief took…and left behind.
Tom Drury from Perth was informed last Saturday from his uncle that his 1994 Mazda was broken into.
Upon closer look, it appeared that the stereo from the front dock of his car was removed and in response, Drury couldn’t help but just laugh.
“The stereo was broken – it didn’t pick up radio stations and didn’t read any discs – it was just rubbish,” he told WA Today. “I had tried removing it not long before, but I gave up out of frustration.”
The man’s piece of garbage stereo apparently needed a special tool to be taken out, a tool Drury didn’t have but the robber supposedly did.
On top of that, the kind criminal left behind AUD$22.10 on the front seat for his troubles.
“If I could say one thing to the thief, it would be ‘thank you,'” Drury said. “Thank you for paying me for a service I was going to pay someone else to do. And by the way, no refunds!”
